Five-string electric bass with full neck, stainless steel frets, Bartolini pickups and active 3-band tone control
The Ibanez BTB745 5-String Bass Guitar Natural Low Gloss is a 5-string model built from select-woods with a neck-through construction, and top quality hardware. The extra-long 35" neck scale offers tight, even tension and added sustain on the high strings as well as superior articulation. The neck-through construction provides an increased sustain with excellent stability, whilst deep cutaways allow effortless access to the upper frets.
The stainless steel frets are known for their bright tone, long durability and smoothness for bending. A "zero" fret provides accurate intonation, whilst allowing open strings to ring with the same resonance as notes played up the neck. The Bartolini BH2 pickups provide a tight bottom-end, punchy mid-range, and a smooth response. The Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ with a 3-way mid-frequency switch offers tonal variations that enhance simple chord work as well as complex soloing.
