Thanks to the flowing All Access Neck Joint and wide cutaways, the bolt-on "Wizard C" neck can easily be played up to the highest registers.

Bolt-on design with high playing comfort

For the seven-string Quest Q547, Ibanez relies on a comfortable headstock-less design that is optimally tailored to the needs of tech-savvy guitarists. The flat Nyatoh body fits the player perfectly thanks to generously shaped contours, while the All Access Neck Joint and wide Cutaways make the entire neck playable. The neck is made of five pieces of roasted maple and bubinga, and the pleasantly slim "Wizard C" profile creates the best conditions for agile string work on the 24-fret fretboard made of Roasted Birdseye Maple.

While the HSS pickup setup with dyna-MIX9 switching promises diverse sounds, Mono-Tune bridges safely bring the electric guitar into the correct tuning.

Flexible HSS pickup setup

With the HSS pickup setup specially developed for the electric guitar and the innovative dyna-MIX9 circuit, which calls up nine different combinations of pickups via 5-way switch and Alter Switch, the Ibanez Quest Q547 delivers particularly versatile clean and overdrive sounds for modern styles of fusion and rock, with the low B string also being cleanly and precisely integrated into the sound. Both the glassy-tuned R1-7 single coils in the neck and middle positions and the powerful Q58-7 humbucker at the bridge convince with a balanced mapping of all frequencies and a clearly audible string separation even with complex chord voicings.
