The Jack & Danny New LS100 BK Black is a six-string electric LP-style guitar featuring a hardwood body, a maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard, and a black finish. This bolt-on single-cut guitar comes with a maple top and single-ply white binding for a premium tone and aesthetic properties.
The maple neck has a large-"C" profile so it is comfortable to hold for any playing style, whilst the user glides over 22 medium jumbo frets on a rosewood fingerboard adorned with trapeze inlays. Two Jack & Danny alnico humbucker pickups produce that LP-style crunch and tone for searing leads and rocking rhythm chords.

Now, this cost just 116 quid at the time of purchase and just wow. Build quality is solid but I'd prefer better knobs. Pickups sound lovely blended clean or through a thich distortion. Neck is nice n smooth and the frets fit well. For under 150 you really can't go wrong.
I wanted a guitar that looked good to make me think I'm better than I am
I looked through the list and settle on this one and so glad I did great delivery time and tracked all the way
Great price andci will definitely be back and I have told my mates
I had a Gretsch and wanted to replace it for many reasons I will not go into here.
This looked like a good replacement and the price was a fraction of the Gretsch.
I had already bought a J&D from DV and was so impressed with it that I was prepared to try this Standard.
At the moment I prefer maple necks but I do own a few rosewood guitars and the Gretsch was one so a rosewood type neck is just what the doctor ordered.
Modern inexpensive guitars are leaving factories in the main so much better made than expensive ones were from 50 years ago and I was not disappointed with this LP style guitar.
It arrived quickly so well done DV and the packaging was superb.
In minutes I had it set up and after some more fettling intonation and action was set and pretty much spot on.
However, I did tend to notice the fret ends just a little so one job will be to maybe smooth them slightly but having said that they are not noticeable when I am playing so might get ignored.
I tend to personalise my guitars and this will get a few changes, some were done right away. The gold knobs looked awful so they went to silver and might be black in the future. The humbucker mounting frames are changed to black, and scratch plate will be black pearl. The last conversion will be to black tuners.
Overall about £20+ will have been spent on it to get it the way I want it but I hasten to say it would be fine without any mods!
Never mind value for money which it is, that is irrelevant. This has been an excellent choice to have instead of my Gretsch.
I would definitely recommend this guitar and I have been playing all my life.
