Product information - KRAMER GUITARS Assault 220 Redburst

Singlecut electric guitar with maple veneer and Alnico V pickups

The Kramer Guitars Assault 220 Redburst is an affordable rock and metal guitar in the popular single-cut design. While the classic mahogany construction offers nimble playing characteristics for fast riffing and endless solos, two Kramer humbuckers provide juicy Distortion sounds. Last but not least, a traditional hardware setup completes the Assault 220 Redburst electric guitar by Kramer.

The Kramer Guitars Assault 220 Redburst at a glance:

  • Mahogany body with curly maple veneer

Nimble Single-cut Guitar

When designing the Assault 220, Kramer Guitars paid special attention to comfortable playing characteristics. The mahogany body fits the player perfectly thanks to the belly carve on the back, while the slim taper profile of the glued mahogany neck promises extremely nimble playing characteristics between the 24 frets. A visual highlight is furthermore the beautiful quilted maple veneer with red burst finish.

Alnico humbucker and hardware

With two powerful Alnico V humbuckers, the Assault 220 puts the electric guitar amp under steam and delivers juicy Distortion sounds for rock and metal. But also in the clean channel the guitar can score with a harmonic warm sound. Thanks to the coil split option, bright single-coil sounds are also on the agenda. A Tune-O-Matic bridge promises a clean adjustment of intonation and position of the strings through the body, while at the headstock of the Assault 220 Redburst Die-Cast tuners provide accurate and stable tuning.
