Martin Guitars 00-14 Custom Shop #2200892 (Natural) Acoustic Guitar

The Martin Guitars 00-14 Custom Shop #2200892 (Natural) is a 6-string Custom Shop Acoustic Guitar exclusively manufactured for Music Store, created using impressive craftsmanship and an exquisite premium wood selection.  This compact Acoustic Instrument follows the traditional 00-14 Fret design. With a body made of solid Curly Maple and selected Adirondack Spruce, it provides clear and bell-like sounds with a direct bass response. The neck of the Martin 00-14 Custom Shop is made of Flamed Maple and carries a 20x fret Ebony Fingerboard with historical Style 45 Abalone inlays. Includes certificate and Hard-Shell Case.

Select Tone-Woods

The use of powerful and evenly grained Curly Maple for the back and sides gives the 00-14 Custom Shop additional attack with extremely nimble response and clarity, while the solid Adirondack Spruce top contributes the coveted pre-war sound with immense dynamic range and additional definition of the high mids. The proven Martin X-Bracing under the canopy provides solid construction, but allows the top to swing unhindered.

Vintage Premium Hardware

As a genuine Martin Guitar, the Martin 00-14 Custom Shop naturally offers some interesting details from Martin's company history. In addition to a classic teardrop pickguard made of Faux Tortoise, 00-14 Historic Style presents 45x inlays of the pre-war models in the Fingerboard and rosette and a headstock veneer of Ebony lacquered with glossy lacquer and framed with a natural binding of Plum Katalox. In addition, the 00-14 Custom Shop features historically accurate Waverly 4060 Machine Heads in Nickel finish and a traditional Belly Up Ebony bridge with compensated bone inlay.
