The Meinl Byzance Big Apple Ride 24" pays homage to the New York jazz scene and delivers a very traditional old school sound. The small bell and pronounced bow produce a full, present sound. The Byzance Dark finish provides a greatly shortened sustain. The B20 bronze ride cymbal is hand hammered and by omitting the lathing, the natural look and raw sound is preserved.
