The Meinl Fat Stack Matt Garstka consists of a 16" bottom in raw finish and an 18" top in traditional finish. Both cymbals are from the Meinl Byzance series and are made from B20 bronze. In combination, Meinl's two cymbals produce a short, dry sound with trashy nuances. The Meinl Fat Stack Matt Garstka is perfect for crisp accents or as a brute timekeeper for funk or hip hop beats. The composition of traditional and raw finish creates a warm, harmonious frequency mix and the round cut-outs additionally provide a very short sustain with a dry basic character.
