MEINL Jupiter Gong

The Meinl Jupiter Gong 28" is a 28" gong, with a frequency of183.58 Hz, tone of F2#, and features a handcrafted construction. The Meinl planetary tuned Gongs are made in Germany from the traditional European gong-making method. Using the calculations from Hans Cousto (The Cosmic Octave) to match the frequencies of the sun, moon, and planets, each gong is tuned to produce the corresponding frequency. These gongs are handcrafted by gong-makers to respond with great sensitivity in all playing applications. Their mysterious sound comes from the countless hours spent hand-working the metal. They are atmospheric and soothing.
