Product information - MUSIC MAN Steve Morse BFR Tahitian Blue Limited Edition

Limited Edition Signature Electric Guitar with maple top, roasted maple neck and custom pickukps, including case

The Music Man Steve Morse BFR Tahitian Blue Limited Edition is a signature electric guitar from the Bass Family Reserve with a first-class selection of wood and a number of special details. Accordingly, the electric guitar has an African mahogany body with a cloud maple top, while the neck is made of roasted maple with a rosewood fingerboard. At the amplifier, two Music Man custom humbuckers deliver lush sounds for classic rock riffs and virtuoso high-speed pickings. Last but not least, the Music Man Steve Morse BFR Tahitian Blue has a Tune-O-Matic bridge, a brass tailpiece and Schaller M6-IND locking mechanisms.

The Music Man Steve Morse BFR Tahitian Blue convinces with first-class woods and perfect sounds.

MUSIC MAN Steve Morse BFR Tahitian Blue Limited Edition Rückseite
The neck and body of the Music Man Steve Morse BFR are screwed together five times. The cover of the electric compartment was signed by Steve Morse.

Music Man Steve Morse BFR with first-class woods

For the construction of the Music Man Steve Morse BFR, the company from San Luis Obispo uses first-class woods from the Ball Family Reserve. The body is made of African mahogany and carries a premium top of cloud maple, whose intense pattern is brought to life by a transparent blue finish. The fivefold screwed neck is made of roasted maple, which is insensitive to climate fluctuations due to the thermal treatment in a vacuum. The combination of "Fat C" profile and wax-oil finish offers a good grip.

MUSIC MAN Steve Morse BFR Tahitian Blue Limited Edition Korpus
The transparent blue finish brings the cloud maple top to life, while two Music Man custom humbuckers bring first-class sounds for rock and virtuoso solos.

Music Man Custom Humbucker

Two Music Man custom humbuckers in neck and bridge position are used as pickups on the Music Man Steve Morse BFR. With moderate output, lively dynamics and a vocal sound character, they are ideal for classical rock riffs with rich pressure, but also precisely represent every single note of virtuoso high-speed solos. The classic circuitry with a 3-way switch for selecting the pickup and master volume and master tone controls can be used to call up many different tones for expressive electric guitar playing.

MUSIC MAN Steve Morse BFR Tahitian Blue Limited Edition Kopfplatte

Schaller M6-IND locking tuners on the reversed headstock ensure precise tuning.

High-quality hardware

In addition, the Music Man Steve Morse BFR Tahitian Blue Limited Edition is equipped with high-quality hardware. The body features a combination of Tune-O-Matic bridge and the proven brass Music Man tailpiece, while six Schaller M6-IND locking tuners in the typical"2+4" arrangement on the reversed headstock ensure precise tuning. Another typical feature of Music Man is the compensated saddle, which ensures a clean intonation of open notes and chords played in the lower registers.
