The NUX Mighty Airis a wireless stereo modelling amp for electric guitar and bass that is ideal as a practice amp for home, small jams or as a warm-up amp before shows. Despite its compact dimensions, the compact combo offers numerous useful features.
For total convenience at home and in the rehearsal room, the Mighty Air comes with an additional wireless transmitter. This is simply plugged into the guitar and transmits the outgoing signal to the Mighty Air's onboard receiver. The system can handle passive and active pickups, as well as the lower frequency range of bass guitars.
To meet even the highest sonic expectations, the NUX Mighty Air relies on the innovative True Simulation of analogue Circuit (TSAC) HD technology. This simulates the interaction of various analogue components, as they are found in the most famous amplifier circuits and offer both the characterful sound and the incomparable feeling of original amplifier bolides.
To output the sound, the NUX Mighty Air offers two custom 2" speakers with a passive bass radiator tailored to the Mighty Air to reproduce an amazingly juicy bass range despite its compact dimensions. This also makes the smart stereo amplifier ideal for playing music via the integrated Aux Input, which allows you to connect playback devices for audio files and backing tracks.
The combination of 13 different amp simulations, 20 impulse responses of the most famous cabinets and a 19 effects FX section provides endless sonic possibilities. For absolute control over your own effects chain, NUX provides the MightyAmp Mobile App for iOS and Android to edit and save presets on your smartphone at any time.
The Mighty Air is not only aimed at guitarists but also makes the advantages of the compact amplifier available to bassists. With dedicated modes for guitar and bass and customized channels, the Mighty Air can be easily adapted to the needs of the low-frequency fraction. Guitarists have access to classic sounds from the clean, overdrive and distortion channels, plus an additional acoustic guitar simulation, while bassists have access to pop, rock and funk sounds.
