The PRS Custom 24 Artist Package #19 270824 (Autumn Sky) is a 6-string electric guitar from the Custom 24 Series. The Artist Package presents a particularly luxurious edition of the popular PRS instrument, with a striking curly Maple top, high-quality hardware and exceptional tone wood selection. Managed by the typical 5-way circuitry, 2x PRS 85/15 humbuckers deliver a wide range of modern guitar sounds that fit into almost any genre. Of course, the PRS Custom 24 Artist Package is equipped with the usual high-quality hardware in the form of PRS Gen III tremolo and Phase III locking tuners.
Artist Grade Wood Selection
For its construction, the PRS Custom 24 Artist Package relies on the high-quality woods. The one-piece Mahogany body carries an "Artist Grade" curly Maple top, whose elegant and even flame is perfectly accentuated by the Autumn Sky finish. The one-piece, glued Mahogany neck with the "Pattern Thin" profile lies extremely comfortably in the hand and thus offers easy playability via the deep black and finely structured fingerboard made of Gabon Ebony. Another special feature is the Artist Bird inlays made of fine abalone with Paua edging.
Versatile Tones
The electric sound conversion of the PRS Custom 24 Artist Package is executed by 2x PRS 85/15 humbuckers in neck and bridge position. Developed by Paul Reed Smith himself to bring the award-winning original 1985 Standard Bass and Standard Treble Humbuckers into modern times, the pick-ups deliver a modern and transparent sound with a harmonious balance between treble and bass. The 5-way blade switch allows different combinations of the pick-ups or their individual coils to be selected so that there are no limits to the tonal diversity.
High-Quality Gold Hardware
The PRS Custom 24 Artist Package features gold-plated hardware that elegantly compliments the noble appearance of the instrument. The body is equipped with the PRS Gen III tremolo system. It decorates melodies or chords with harmonic vibratos, while the round surfaces without edges contribute to the pleasant handling. In addition, light PRS Phase III locking tuners on the Ebony veneered headstock guarantee stable and precise tuning.
