To achieve a particularly resonant and lively sound, PRS relies on a mahogany body with generous resonance chambers for the hollow-body II Piezo, which are finished off by a top and back made of particularly heavily grained flamed maple in upscale 10-top grade. The pleasantly rounded pattern mahogany neck also nestles comfortably in the hand, allowing classic and modern playing techniques to be implemented with ease on the rosewood fingerboard. Naturally, the coveted Bird inlays serve as position markers.
With two PRS 58/15 LT pickups and the piezo system in the bridge, the Hollowbody II Piezo delivers the sounds of electric guitar and acoustic guitar.

At the guitar amp, the PRS hollow-body II piezo proves to be a true all-rounder that is no stranger to any sound or genre. Two PRS 58/15 LT low-turns humbuckers deliver finely resolved electric guitar sounds for crystal clear cleans and juicy Overdrive between Blues and rock thanks to the reduced Output. The piezo pickup system developed together with acoustic specialist LR Baggs also contributes authentic acoustic guitar sounds that significantly expand the musical expression possibilities. Thanks to separate mono and stereo outputs, the pickup signals of the PRS hollow-body II Piezo can be output to different amplifiers.
