To achieve a particularly resonant and lively sound, PRS relies on a mahogany body with generous resonance chambers for the hollow-body II, which are closed off by a maple top and back. The pleasantly rounded pattern mahogany neck nestles comfortably in the hand, allowing classic and modern playing techniques to be implemented with ease on the rosewood fingerboard. The coveted Bird inlays naturally serve as position markers.
With two PRS 58/15 LT pickups and the piezo system in the bridge, the Hollowbody II Piezo delivers the sounds of electric guitar and acoustic guitar.

The piezo pickup system developed together with acoustic specialist LR Baggs also contributes authentic acoustic guitar sounds that significantly expand the musical expression possibilities.
