The Roland TD-17KV2 E-Drum Set is a high-quality electronic drum set from Roland, equipped with over 300 sounds, 70 kits and professional 12" snare pad. Featuring the sound engine of Roland's flagship TD-50, it offers perfect performance at an affordable price. With various coaching functions and quick recording, it is the ideal partner for versatile drum playing.
There are 70 preset and 50 user kits freely available in the module, 20 kits of which are new in the update. Wav samples can be easily imported into the module via SD card. Each sound of the Roland TD-17KV2 is individually adjustable in pitch, carpet tension and damping. A treble and bass equalizer as well as reverb and compressor are available for each channel, plus there is of course a headphone output, two extra trigger inputs, an AUX-IN, MIDIOUT and a USB audio to PC/MAC connection. Thanks to the Bluetooth 4.2 transceiver, it is possible to wirelessly stream music to the module and cross-check your own recordings. The KV2 version of the Roland TD-17 comes with the generous PDX-12 mesh pad, 3 x PDX-8 mesh pads for the toms, the CY-5 Hi-Hat pad incl. controller. New to the TD-17KV2 are the 12" CY-12C-T crash and the 14" CY-14R-T ride with thinner profile for natural feel and realistic response.

The Roland TD-17KV2 contains a wide range of original TD-50 samples, so you always have the perfect sound, whether in the rehearsal room or on stage. The 2.0 update includes 20 new, modern kits. With authentic feel and a variety of coaching functions, as well as Quick-Recording, the drummer can measure his progress and it becomes much easier to learn drums. Even for complete beginners, the module provides effective learning functions that teach the absolute basics simply and precisely.
The TD-17 2.0 module includes a coach mode that assists with daily exercises. or warming up, developing a sense of groove, tempo and timing, or building physical endurance - the accompanying score means you always know how you just played. In addition to drum lessons with an instructor, the Roland E-Drum Set's coaching features let you celebrate faster success and learn to play drums more effectively. Thanks to the smartphone tray on the module, instructional videos or recordings can be watched directly on the drum set.

The PDX-12 Mesh Pad for the snare offers an authentic playing feel and allows with its 12" the normal playing technique as with an acoustic drum kit. In addition, the module includes a Bluetooth 4.2 transceiver that allows you to stream music from your smartphone or laptop directly to the module and play along with it. Furthermore, you can record your performances in Quick-Recording mode and then listen to them again. In this way, possible areas for improvement can be quickly identified.
