The Roland TD-50K2 E-Drum Set is the high-end flagship of the V-Drums series. The professional V-Drum Set convinces with digital pads, Prismatic Sound Modeling and over 900 sounds in 100 ready-to-play kits from world-famous studios. At the heart of this electronic drum set is the Roland TD-50X sound module with Pure-Acoustic Ambience technology, which delivers detailed sounds with perfect tone and the best drum sound on the market today. Besides the three digital trigger inputs for snare, ride and hi-hat, there are 14 TRS trigger inputs, five of which are vacant. Eight direct outputs and the XLR master out are perfect for live use. A wide range of EQs and multi-effects as well as the integrated USB audio/MIDI interface with 32 channels allow professional studio recordings with the TD-50X module. You can import your own samples via an SD card. The Roland drum kit also offers playback options for backing tracks or your own songs.

The Roland digital pads feature a sophisticated multi-sensor system that accurately detects the position of the stroke and adjusts the sound, even with dynamic subtleties. All playing techniques and the finest volume levels are excellently implemented and sound 100% authentic. Alongside the PD-140DS snare and the CY-18DR ride, the hi-hat is the newest member of the digital pad series. The Digital HiHat VH-14D works with a new sensor technology and is able to accurately implement even the smallest subtleties thanks to an enormous dyanamic range and smooth transitions when opening and closing. The rest of the Roland drum and cymbal pads are also of high quality workmanship and convince with an outstanding feel. Thanks to flat shells, multi-layer mesh heads and convincing construction, all shells and the robust drum rack are the perfect choice for all professional drummers who stand on stage with Roland e-drums.

Roland TD-50X Sound Module: 900 Sounds and Integrated Interface

The TD-50X module uses Prismatic Sound Modeling. This technology enables a new level of dynamics and expressiveness, as the TD-50X module is able to interpret and match every little nuance of the player. 900 sounds in 100 kits are tuned for instant satisfaction, allowing you to instantly immerse yourself in an impressive playing experience. The built-in USB audio/MIDI interface lets you create professional recordings with up to 32 separate tracks. 14 TRS trigger inputs and three inputs for digital pads via USB are provided. A full eight direct outs can be routed individually, allowing tracks to be sent separately into the mix. You can also import your own WAV samples to create an individual sound profile. Backing tracks and playbacks can also be played back with the integrated song player and routed to a specific track as required. Realtime Recording lets you record and save your performance in real time. Professional multi-effects and numerous EQ settings with intuitive operation round off the overall picture.

The fifth drum kit on the enclosed SD card is an exclusive sound package of the German exceptional drummer Marco Minnemann, who now works as a musician in Los Angeles. Still in Europe, Marco Minnemann played with Paul Gilbert, Udo Lindenberg, Paddy Kelly, Terry Bozzio, Chad Wackerman, Wolfgang Schmid, Kreator, Mike Keneally and Nena. In the USA he worked with bands like "The Aristocrats", tours with Steve Wilson and Joe Satriani or the project "The Mute Gods" of Nick Beggs, the bassist and singer of the group "Kajagoogoo".
