The set-neck design with mahogany neck extending deep into the body and the increased string tension of the long 26.5" scale length (673 mm) promise a powerful sound and a clean representation of every note even at low tunings. While the flat "Thin C" neck profile and the compound fretboard radius of the ebony fingerboard promise agile playing characteristics up to the highest registers, the stainless steel fretting in extra jumbo format lets bendings glide like on rails.

Lundgren pickups
To elicit contemporary metal sounds from the guitar amp, Schecter equips the C-7 Blackjack with two Lundgren M7 humbuckers. Despite their enormous Outputs, the top-class ceramic pickups from Sweden convince with an extremely tight sound that brings any notes and chords to the ear with rich punch and razor-sharp precision, even with drop tunings and maximum distortion. Thanks to the coil split option, glassy clean sounds for mellow passages are also part of the seven-string electric guitar's repertoire. The pickups are controlled by their own volume knobs and a general treble control.
Precise locking tuners keep the strings of the Schecter C-7 securely in the correct tuning.
