The Seymour Duncan Hot Rails Set Black is a set of 3 replacement humbucking pick-ups for Stratocaster guitars designed to bring more crunch and sustain for hard rock and metal sounds.
This single coil ‘rails’ sized humbucker is high output making chords full and single notes jump out whilst providing lots of midrange harmonics and an aggressive crunch that make this a great bridge pickup for rock and metal. The dual blade construction style provides optimum string coverage, especially for bending notes on the highest frets.
The neck pick-up uses a strong ceramic magnet and overwound coils for a big sounding but well balanced tone for round and warm clean tones as well as thick and slick solos.
The Hot Rails for Strat Set comes with a 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is wax potted for squeal free operation. All pick-ups are hand built in Santa Barbara, California.
