With the practical Sigma pickup system, which uses an undersaddle pickup and an active preamp on the rib, the Sigma DMCE-BKB Black Burst is ideally suited for amplified stage use. Last but not least, high-quality die-cast tuners provide a high degree of tuning stability.
In classic style, the Sigma DMCE-BKB Black Burst comes with a solid Sitka spruce top with laminated mahogany sides and back. Accordingly, this dreadnought delivers a powerful sound with clear basses, nuanced mids and brilliant highs. A flat neck profile and string action ensure easy playability, while the cutaway also makes playing in the higher registers a delight. Due to chrome-plated die-cast tuners, the Sigma DMCE acoustic guitar remains tuning stable and precise. In this context, the dreadnought body is virtually predestined for strumming and powerful vocal accompaniment.
The Sigma original pick-up comes with a surprising number of adjustment possibilities. In addition to a volume control, basses, mids and trebles can be adjusted with a three-band equalizer. In addition, the preamp has a built-in tuner and a battery check diode. This lights up as soon as a battery change is required.
