12-string acoustic guitar with traditional dreadnought design including softshell case

The Sigma DR12-42 12-String impresses with its high-quality and traditional design, which is enriched by numerous inlays and decorations. In addition, the 12-string acoustic guitar produces a full sound that is excellent for vocal accompaniment. Thanks to a flat neck, the strings can be comfortably grasped in all 20 frets. In addition, the guitar is equipped with a high-quality Hardware, which perfectly rounds off the functionality of the instrument. The scope of delivery includes a lightweight yet sturdy Sigma Softshell Case.

Construction and woods

Thanks to the solid top made of Sitka spruce, the mid and treble frequencies unfold very quickly and over a wide area, so that both individual notes and chords come across perfectly. Meanwhile, the laminated rosewood body enriches the sound with warm bass frequencies. Due to its flat profile, the mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard is extremely easy to play.

Hardware and Design

The 47,6 mm wide nut and the compensated saddle are made of bone, so that the guitar intonates cleanly over the whole 645 mm scale length. At the same time, the gold Grover tuners allow precise tuning of the 12 steel strings, which end in an ebony bridge. This is, like the fretboard with filigree Inlays provided, which are tastefully coordinated. The multi-ply binding and the soundhole rosette are decorated with fine inlays of abalone, which also border the fretboard on top. The appearance is completed by a large Tortoise pickguard and the aging toner of the top wood.
