With the Sigma SDR-28, the manufacturer Sigma expands its range with a fully solid acoustic guitar in the traditional dreadnought design, which offers outstanding and comfortable playing in addition to a voluminous and assertive sound. Composed of a fine-grained Sitka spruce top and a high-quality rosewood body, the guitar produces an exceptionally warm tone that is particularly clear in the mid and treble frequencies. A lightly polished, ultra-thin varnish with aging toner additionally contributes to a fast sound development and at the same time gives the instrument a timeless vintage look. For an accommodating playing feel, the manufacturer installs a mahogany neck with a fine ebony fingerboard, which subtly highlights the value of the SDR-28 with its small-diamond inlays. In order to guarantee clean intonation over the entire scale length of 645 mm, the 44.5 mm wide nut and the bridge inlay, which is set into the traditionally held ebony bridge, are made of bone material. Open Grover nickel tuners also allow easy tuning of the 6 steel strings and round off the instrument's appearance perfectly. The Sigma SDR-28 acoustic guitar comes with a lightweight Sigma soft case.
