The Squier Affinity Series Stratocaster FMT HSS MN Black Burst is both sonically and visually a real treat from the popular Squier Affinity Series. The 1954 classic comes up with some modern appointments that provide fat sounds and comfortable handling.
Poplar body with figured maple veneer.
The Strat body made of poplar in official dimensions features an intensely grained curly maple veneer, which makes for an interesting visual appearance in combination with the transparent Black Burst finish.
Bolted maple neck with C-profile
The best playing conditions are provided by the bolt-on maple neck, which with its slim C-profile allows for a comfortable playing position in all registers. The neck is finished with a maple fingerboard with 21 medium Jumbo frets.
Juicy HSS pickup setup.
An extremely popular upgrade to the Stratocaster's classic pickup setup is a powerful humbucker in the bridge position. Accordingly, on this Affinity Strat with an HSS setup comes an extremely versatile sound that is available for a variety of possible sounds from hot rock and metal to undistorted cleans of jazz and country.
Modern 2-point tremolo
A logical progression from the classic Vintage-Style tremolos, the 2-Point Tremolo offers reliable and tuning-stable trem bar work and added scope for pitch modulation.
