The Squier Bullet Mustang HH skillfully combines the compact and expressive design of the Mustang with the linear structure of a double humbucker. Accordingly, the Bullet Mustang feels particularly at home in the realms of grunge, punk, rock and metal. Both pickups are controlled by a 3-way toggle switch, volume and tone controls, while the fixed hardtail bridge with six individual riders for each string contributes to the resonant sound of the Mustang.
Plays really nicely, especially for the price. Intonation is a bit out on the bottom E string but that can be sorted. Also it looks super cool. 100% would recommend.
A remarkable lightweight guitar with high values of finish and basic setup.
With a little time and effort spent on adjusting relief, intonation and action, this is a completely playable instrument.
The pickups sound a little basic and I would have been even more pleased if this was available with a 9.5 inch radius fretboard.
Also 5 stars to music store and DPD for getting my order from Germany to my home in appx 48 hours.
You have to take the price into account, if you paid lots more you might feel cheated but the bullet Mustang punches way above it's weight. Build quality is perhaps the biggest giveaway on price but it's not bad at all just some minor setup on mine, the sounds is great, powerful and versatile, it looks great and is Joy to play, so light and comfortable. A bargain, brilliant first guitar and able to live up to upgrades and experienced users just as well.
