The Studiologic Compact 2X is a compact, very light stage piano. The stage piano is a big step forward in terms of sound quality, digital post-processing effects and full MIDI controller functions. Thanks to the built-in speakers and the internal digital amplifier, the Numa Compact 2x is ideally suited and flexibly applicable in any musical environment. Besides high-quality piano sounds the Comapct2x includes the Tonewheelorgel from the Numa Comact, the Sledge Synthesizer and 1GB of sample memory.
The sound engine of the Compact 2x implements a true tonewheel organ model derived from the Numa organ. The user interface has 9 programmable sliders that can be used as drawbars to control organ sounds and as linear controls to send MIDI CC.
The sledge engine of the Compact2 has been optimized. With this engine it is possible to create any synthetic sound from its basic Waves library. With the 9 sliders 9 synthesis parameters can be controlled.
The built-in USB port on the Compact2x allows you to send and receive audio in digital quality. Simply send and save the sound of the Compact 2x to your computer or use the Compact 2x as an audio board to amplify the digital audio coming from your computer or tablet through the built-in speakers in endless combinations.
