With the K22ce, Taylor offers a breathtaking beauty from unique solid Hawaiian Koa, which meets the highest optical and tonal demands. Accordingly, the compact Grand Concert cabinet delivers clear and defined bass, striking and nuanced mid-range, as well as fine-silver and radiant highs. In addition, the narrow waist and shallow body depth provide a flexible and ergonomic playing feel, while the shortened scale length of 632mm makes it easier to grasp chords extending over several frets. The slightly reduced string tension also makes it easier to pull the strings. The clearly articulated tones and the clear balanced sound should inspire the friends of fingerstyle, stage and studio guitarists.
A compensated bone bridge inlay ensures optimum resonance transmission and a flat string position, while the gold-plated Taylor die-cast mechanisms ensure fine transmission and tuning stability. The optical highlight, besides the unique grain of Koa, are the affectionately "Island Vine" integrated fingerboard inlays.
For a rich stage presentation, the Taylor in-house ES-2 pickup system is available, which reproduces the outstanding sound of the Grand Concert with harmonious dynamics and natural balance. Last but not least, an original Taylor case is already included.
