The Thomastik AC111 Bronze Flat Wound Acoustic Guitar Strings are superior strings made for acoustic guitars.
The combination of lower overall tension, hybrid arrangement of flatwounds (A,D,G) with roundwound low E, and silk inlays (for precise overtone balance) produces a beautiful, almost classical tone, with the warmth of bronze and the easy playability of a fine set of jazz strings. And because of its low, evenly balanced tensions, these strings can extend the playing life of many fine older guitars with weak bracing or other special age conditions.

Thomastik AC 111 A-Saiten 11-50 Plectrum lightMellow sounding strings with less overtones than a typical steel string. More emphasis on the mids, less on the highs. The volume is lower, but it won't be a problem if the guitar has a pickup. You might prefer the "jingle" of other strings in a band setting to cut through, but these are the best for solo guitar.
I've been using them for years, and I've had a few faulty strings. The quality control could be better. However, if the set is fine, they last much longer than other uncoated strings.
