The Two Notes Torpedo Live Speaker Cabinet Simulator is a combination of an analog REACTIVE 100W RMS loadbox and a powerful 32-bit DSP. The Torpedo Live was directly inspired by the critically acclaimed Torpedo VB-101, the first-ever digital loadbox to have hit the market.
The Torpedo Live features 32 Two Notes cabinets at once in a single rack unit — a pack you can expand from Two Note’s ever growing library of virtual cabinets, available on La Boutique via the Remote software or WoS III plug-in. There are also eight carefully selected microphones ready to capture your best guitar riffs. Whether you need a classic dynamic, a sweet ribbon or a high fidelity condenser microphone, you have them all inside the box.
Torpedo Live also uses exclusive proprietary cabinet and microphone measurement technology which accurately emulates the sound and process of miking a guitar or bass cabinet in a professional recording studio. It also includes valve power amp emulations originally developed for the Torpedo VM-202.
The main features of the Two Notes Torpedo Live Speaker Cabinet Simulator include:
Great sounding item. Highly recommended for recording guitars and basses and live shows. I use Torpedo Live with my Mesa Triple Rectifier for guitars and with Ampeg B2RW for basses. Sometimes i mix Torpedo Live (sm 57 Marshall emulation) with Orange PPC412 miced Royer r-121. I dont want to use bass cab anymore - A Designs REDDI, Ampeg B2RW, Torpedo Live is my best way to recording basses nowadays.
