You can really get a punch out of it - Id even dare say you can get the heavy and lasting sound of a 20 or 22 china while still having the definition of a smaller cymbal to go along with softer sections, if played right. Maybe not the best price/performance ratio you can get, but still a very good one. I mainly use it for heavier sections and accents, and it has top notch performance in those fields.
