The Victory V4 The Countess is a fully Preamp fledged in Pedal -format, which produces the characteristic Overdrive -sound of the Victory V30 The Countess at each amplifier and before each power amplifier. Unlike conventional overdrives and preamps, the EC900 and three CV4014 tubes in the signal path, jointly developed Pedal with Guitar Guru Guthrie Govan, reproduce the tube character of the V30 The Countess preamp as authentically as possible. Thanks to its extensive switching capabilities and compact Pedalboard size, the Victory V4 The Countess is the perfect all-purpose weapon for at home, in Studio and on stage.
With its two channels, it V4 The Countess offers the complete sound palette of the V30 The Countess . In Channel 1, this produces V4 The Countess clear cleans up to a mild breakup to boost the amplifier's existing Clean sound, or quickly tame amplifiers drifting into crunch regions. In channel 2, on the other hand, full and rich Overdrive sounds are available. The sound of both channels is transmitted via the common 3-Band Equalizer while the Bright switch provides an increase or decrease in treble.
The Victory V4 The Countess 's connection layout offers two ways to connect it Pedal to an amplifier: In standalone mode, this V4 The Countess can be connected Pedal to the preamplifier of the amplifier in the same way as a normal Overdrive preamplifier, thus preserving the preamp character of the amp used. The Amp Through Mode works with the classic 4-wire method and allows not only the use of effects before V4 The Countess and in the effects loop, but also the simple switching between the preamp V4 The Countess and the amplifier via bypass switch.
