The Wampler Clarksdale V2 offers Brian Wampler’s team’s own interpretation of the famous bright green drive classic with its characteristic mid-boost. The popular and often copied circuit of the original was accurately implemented and a 3-band equalizer added for further tonal adjustments. Set the toggle switch to Big mode for juicy lead sounds or Smooth mode for a more refined tone. High-Gain fans will find the Clarksdale less noisy than its predecessor in the case of highly distorted amp sounds.

Wampler Clarksdale V2 B-Stock/DemoI already owned the first Clarksdale which sounded great, so I decided to buy the v2 model. Needless to say the pedal looks and feels great from the outside. This one is kind of bulky but not to heavy. It came with a 9V battery. I used to have almost all the Ibanez models including the hardwired one. To me, the Clarksdale have a little more sustain and compression with the volume at 3/4. The eq section is very responsive and the addition of the fat switch makes it stand out. The on/off switch feels great and the on/off led is placed where it can be seen easily. The pedal is also pedalboard friendly compare to the classic TS808 or TS9. I don't regret my purchase !
