The Yamaha BB424X Bass Guitar Black is a 4-string model featuring an alder body, a maple neck, a rosewood fretboard, two single coil pickups, and a black finish. The BB424X delivers the classic sound, feel and appearance of the BB2000 series, with updated modern features.

Using Diagonal Body Thru Stringing, the strings on this bass are angled at 45° at the saddle to reduce the stress and secure tension. This set-up also enables a better transmission of vibration. With five layers of wood, the neck of this guitar is crafted from maple and mahogany to enhance durability and prevent warping or curling.
