Product information - Yamaha F 310 TBS II

Acoustic guitar in dreadnought construction for beginners

The Yamaha F 310 TBS II is an excellent choice for beginners thanks to its robust construction and its shortened scale length. The high-quality Hardware and the clean processing guarantee furthermore fast learning successes. Due to its laminated, lightweight construction, the instrument produces a very powerful and warm sound that unfolds quickly and over a wide area. The acoustic guitar is rounded off by a noble high-gloss finish.

The Yamaha F 310 TBS II at a glance:

  • Dreadnought-style acoustic guitar with 634 mm scale length.
  • Laminated body made of Locally-Sourced-Tonewood with spruce top
  • Flat neck with rosewood fingerboard and 20 frets
  • Bridge inlay and 42,9 mm wide nut made of urea
  • Chrome plated tuners
  • High gloss finish with sunburst finish

Construction and woods

The extensive dreadnought body is equipped with a laminated spruce top and consists of locally cut tonewoods on the back and sides. With the help of a clever bracing, each frequency receives a very pleasant warmth, making the F 310 particularly suitable for vocal accompaniment. At the same time the flat neck made of Locally-Sourced-Tonewood is very beginner-friendly. The rosewood fingerboard measures 42.9 mm at the nut and is equipped with 20 frets.

Hardware and Design

The instrument is equipped with high-quality hardware made of urea to ensure that every note is intonated cleanly over the entire scale length of 634 mm. At the same time, chrome-plated tuners guarantee precise tuning of the 6 steel strings. To give the Yamaha F 310 TBS Dreadnought guitar a traditional appearance, the body is equipped with a simple black Binding, which borders the individual parts of the body. Matching the Binding top is a black pickguard and a three-ring soundhole rosette.
