With the Japanese-built Revstar Professional RSP02T, Yamaha pays special attention to a lively sound character and trouble-free playing characteristics. The resonance chambers in the carbon reinforced, two-piece mahogany body, positioned according to Yamaha's "Acoustic Design Process ", together with the "Initial Response Acceleration" (I.R.A.), ensure a resonance-friendly sound image with the organic dynamics of a perfectly played-in instrument. With its pleasantly strong C-profile, the mahogany neck reinforced with inlaid carbon rods fits comfortably in the hand, allowing classical and modern playing techniques to be implemented with ease. Thanks to the virtually wear-free stainless steel fretting in jumbo format, bends on the rosewood fingerboard also succeed as if on rails.

The Revstar Professional RSP02T's electrical tone conversion is handled by Yamaha VP5 pickups in the neck and bridge positions. Equipped with Alnico V magnets, the P-90 style single coil pickups elicit surprisingly powerful clean and overdrive tones from the guitar amp, capturing the guitar's lively timbre with top-notch dynamics and responding superbly to playing technique and touch. While the 5-way circuitry provides versatile timbres by switching the pickups in different ways, the Focus Switch in the Tone control delivers a particularly assertive "overwound" sound if desired.
The headstock of the Revstar Professional RSP02T carries tuning stable die-cast tuners and the "Made in Japan" Hanko stamp.
Stylish hardware features
