Zoom's H3-VR is a comprehensive solution for recording and processing 360° audio for VR, AR and mixed reality content in a compact and portable device. Equipped with an Ambisonics microphone including 4 capsules as well as the integrated A/B decoder, the H3VR records four channels that are automatically converted for use in 360° audio applications. While editing steps used to always require extensive hardware rigs and special software solutions, this can now be easily done with the Zoon H3 VR Handy Recorder.
In addition to its special capsule arrangement, the device also stands out for its compact, conical design. Audio material can be recorded in different angles without interfering with the recording field of a video camera. After recording, the spatial presentation can be specifically set up using the internal Ambisonics playback features.
